Professional Experience

1.) Myspace Internet Cafe

Position: Internet Cafe Attendant

I help customers wanting assistance using our computers or software. Provide various services from print, design to support .Troubleshoot different PC’s makes, their hardware’s and software daily. Provide excellent customer care keeping the cafe clean .Keep accurate records of logs and inventories of the shop.

Major Achievements: Getting income from designs that I did for customers

 

 2.) Tagg Coffee Bar

Position: Barista and the Cafe Attendant

Key Responsibilities: I serviced the coffee bar with no supervision or help. I was the only employee hired, working every day from open till end of business were I got relived by my Employer the owner of the Bar who took over from me for the late shift

Major Achievements: Working unsupervised in a coffee bar with efficiency and a consistent friendly manner earning loyalty and growing our customer base.

 

 3.) Batstone Rooftop Pool Bar

Position: Bartender

Key Responsibilities: I was responsible for accurately preparing mix drinks, cocktails, and all other bar beverages to serve to guests and. I ensured the bar area was fully equipped with tools and products needed and prepared inventory to purchase requisitions as needed.

Major Achievements:  I learned how to serve at large functions and how to time the delivery of orders for large numbers of guests simultaneously.

 

4.) Arriba Latino Restaurant at the Long Street Hotel

Position: Waiter and Bartender

Key Responsibilities: I helped in all areas of the restaurant, from opening procedures through to serving the customers and helping to close down the restaurant at the end of each day. I provided customer service, greeting the guests and taking their meal and beverage orders, and not only served all orders but helped to prepare food and drinks as well.

Major Achievements: Utilizing my acquire skills and knowledge towards the growth of the Restaurant and the Hotel

5.) Players Restaurant

 Position: Waiter

Key Responsibilities: I greeted the customers and showed them to their tables or appropriate      function area. I took guests’ orders, up selling when the opportunity arose.  

Major Achievements: I learned how to serve at large functions and how to time the delivery of orders for large numbers of guests simultaneously.

 

6.) Mr. Pickwick’s Cafe

Position: Waiter and Bartender

Key Responsibilities: I serviced half of a 100-Seater restaurant together with one other college shifted on the day. Together working as a team we have to work the floor together taking turns to cross-work as bartender. Unsupervised we performed all opening and closing duties, including stock requisition, cash intake and reconciliation, and cash payout.

Major Achievements: I was introduced to high-volume and high-pressure bar tending and I learned how to deliver without sacrificing quality.

 

7.) Cubana Latino Café

Position: Waiter

Key Responsibilities: I was responsible for serving a section of 10 to 18 guests simultaneously, consistently working under pressure and in high-volume situations. I utilized my interpersonal skills to help our team achieve our sales and service goals.

Major Achievements: I gained knowledge of Cuban and Mexican cuisine as well as insight into the culture.

 

8.) Beefcakes Burger Bar

Position: Waiter

Key Responsibilities: I handled a section of the restaurant, remaining friendly and warm to all our customers. I was always punctual and professional and assisted my team whenever they needed help.

Major Achievements: I gained knowledge in cocktails, wine, and methods for food and beverage pairing.

 

9.) M’Squared Bakery and Coffee Shop

Position: Baker and Waiter

Key Responsibilities: I worked first as a Sculler training as a confectionery baker with permission from the owner, assisting the Head Baker in producing different kinds of breads and pastry products. Two Months’ I was made waiter serving food and beverage to customers.

Major Achievements:  Knowledge of work in a bakery, the different types of bread, pastries, cakes and how they are made.
